The evergreens and blades of grass nod gratefully for the cleansing; Small creatures creep out to sip from the glistening droplets and are refreshed. The Robin and the Sparrow delight in the feeling as they dance their ballet in pools of liquid rainbows, their wings quivering with glee. There’s a gentle, dripping, quiet sound that touches each thing with joy, giving beauty to a rainy day. There’s gladness in the air; The warmth of a thousand sunbeams kisses the lazy haze of morning, and rises to the sky to plume and billow with clear understanding of the changing; Knowing they will return to touch the earth with grace and question not their place in time. There is no thought of "why", only the longing for tomorrow as they sweep the sky, and lend their wisdom to a cloudy day. There’s a stirring in the air; The clover and the honeysuckle turn their faces toward the warm yellow glow and renew their strength, taking life and giving life in that sweet exchange. The Rose reveals her velvet core and offers her beauty in thanks for the kiss of each sunbeam. Small seeds snuggle restlessly to rise above their warm brown blanket and stretch their arms with the yearning. The cricket and the bee are delighted to join in the awakening, and lend their music to a sunny day. There’s stillness in the air; The sky sifts its’ moisture downward in perfect crystal prisms, drifting a silent white lace lullaby to cover the sleeping landscape. Deep within the heart of white cloaked branches, a new life waits its turn to surprise the eye with the beauty of springs awakening, and gives hope to a snowy day. There’s awareness in the air; The trees sway and bow to the rhythm of the breeze, whispering secrets with fingers touching through their dancing branches. The breath of a newborn fawn mingles a musty sweetness with the breeze; and lifts its head to seek its mother’s scent that lingers safely there. There’s a stirring in the heart of every living thing that welcomes the gift of life, which adds harmony to a windy day.
